It is with great sadness that the UIP Education Committee has received news of the death of one of its Advisory Committee members.

Professor Evgeny Ivanov, from Russian Phlebological Association, passed away after fighting for three weeks with COVID-19.

Professor Ivanov was a distinguished professional and also a good friend and companion of his peers, he will always be remembered by all the ones who have had the great honor of meeting him.

We accompany his colleagues, friends and family in this sad and difficult time.
