Objectives

The aim of the Communications and Public Relations Committee (CPR) is to:

• Work closely with the UIP administration and members of the EC to regularly update the website, social media content and UIP newsletter.
• Promote all aspects of UIP activities, including UIP Congresses and Events and activities of other UIP Committees.

Activities

The committee will direct the activities of the UIP ED, UIP Communications Officer and Core-PCO including

• The UIP Newsletter
• The UIP social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram
• The Communications Officer on behalf of the committee will report quarterly statistics to the UIP EC on the frequency of all communications and on the number of times communications are read and interacted with.

Composition

The CPR shall be comprised of:

• the Chair of the Communications and Public Relations Committee (Chair)
• the Chair of the UIP Engagement Working Group (Deputy Chair)
• the UIP Executive Director
• the UIP Communications Officer
• the UIP President
• Any additional members that may be required by the Committee from time to time.
