In the wonderful city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina and cultural center of Latin America, an international scientific event that will count on the entire medical community of our specialties in a framework of great importance as it is the XII International Congress of the Latinamerican Venous Forum, XIX International Congress of the Argentinian College of Venous & Lymphatic Surgery, IX International and Interuniversity Meeting on Advances in Phlebology, Lymphology and Aesthetics will be developed.

It is a great honor for us to share the scientific space of this event with the UIP (International Union of Phlebology) General Council (formed by 75 scientific societies from 55 countries) & Executive Committee Meetings.

We will also count on the VII Congress of the Bonaerense Society of Phlebology and Lymphology (SBFL), and the IV Congress of the Buenos Aires Association of Phlebology and Lymphology (AFLIPBA).

We will receive the Uruguayan medical community organizing the I Congress of the Uruguayan Society of Phlebology and Lymphology (SUFyL) and we will also host the Andean Conference (ACUFLA – PATAGONIA – SOCHIFyL) and the Mercosur Symposium.

This Organizing Committee is pleased to receive such distinguished personalities who will give - together with our local specialists - the brightness this event has had through the years.

We are led by a truly conciliatory spirit which is constantly preserved and expanded by the universities and scientific societies that we represent. And with a real sense of responsibility for medical education, we seek to transfer this spirit to other relevant fields which are willing to share these events with us.

It is enormously pleasing to present to our colleagues a scientific program of high academic standards in the context of a continuing medical education program that brings together the most important national and international professionals who are responsible for cultivating an ethical and research spirit in young minds, a spirit that encourages intellectual growth.

The effort in organizing this Congress will be rewarded with your presence. And whishing this major event shows our thoughts and remains a tool for growth and unity.
