Understanding CEAP C4c Disease

09 April, 2021 Webinar
Description

Join us on Friday, April 9 at 8:00 AM EDT for "Understanding CEAP C4c Disease – Clinical Features and Implications," a free AVLS webinar cosponsored by the AVF and UIP and eligible for one CME credit.

Since its introduction in 1994, CEAP has become the most widely utilized discrimitive instrument for the classification of chronic venous disorders. Among the strengths of the instrument has been its ongoing investigation by the international community, resulting in significant updates to the classification system as new evidence is developed. Based upon these observations, the third revision of CEAP was published in 2020. Among other revisions, this included the designation of corona phlebectatica as C4c, acknowledging the observations that corona is a marker of progression from uncomplicated to advanced chronic venous disease.

Please join us as a panel of international experts discuss the pathophysiology and natural history of C4c disease.

Moderators: Drs. Mark Meissner and Marc Passman
Panelists: Drs. Fedor Lurie, Jean-Francois Uhl, Eberhardt Rabe, and Marlin Schul.
